Okay, Powell's has blown it. The mailman just delivered a book I had on backorder with Amazon, and still I have no Powell's shipment.

The good news is, the book that arrived is the one I really wanted to read, Red Sun, The Invasion of Hawai'i After Pearl Harbor. Everyone should read it! There's the cutest little picture of Pat on the back, I'm so proud of him. And I'll admit I'm flattered that he not only remembered what I used to say about teaching at a community college, but he also remembered my diatribe on history as fiction. Amazing to find out that someone was actually listening to me.
